Can I buy without starting the trial?+
Yes. Buy Speakintosh directly for €49 without waiting for the trial to start or end.
Can I create my own voice?+
Yes. Speakintosh prepares a reusable voice from a short, permitted recording, directly on your Mac.
Does text or audio leave my Mac?+
No. Voice preparation and speech generation happen locally. Model downloads, license checks and optional limited diagnostics use the internet, but diagnostics never contain your text or audio.
Is there a subscription?+
No. After the 14-day trial, Speakintosh costs €49 once for the complete 1.x version.
Do I need an account?+
No account is needed for the trial. If you buy Speakintosh, your email is used only to deliver and recover your license. There is no password to create.
Why does macOS ask me to confirm opening it?+
The current download is not yet Apple-notarized. First try to open Speakintosh, then open System Settings › Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. macOS asks for your login password once and remembers the exception. A notarized download will replace this step as soon as Apple distribution is ready.
Which Macs are supported?+
Apple silicon (M1 or newer) with macOS 15 or later. 8 GB memory is the minimum and 16 GB is recommended. The core model uses about 4 GB; both models use about 8 GB. Keep at least 10 GB free for download and installation.
